During 1998-1999 I collaged and painted in 14 accordion books. In the Cascade series, I continued to collage and paint in accordion books but I shortened each book and had it mounted to be viewed as a whole rather than to be viewed page by page. I wanted to show a progression of images flowing into each other in a long vertical format.
